Dylan McCallon

Before becoming a landscape designer at Daystar, Dylan had a diverse background in landscaping-related fields. Following high school and during his college years, he worked for various landscaping companies and an irrigation company, gaining experience in landscape maintenance, installation, and irrigation. With over 8 years in the field, Dylan has contributed to numerous residential and commercial projects, and has held leadership roles as a crew lead and foreman. He attended Texas Tech University from 2011 to 2017, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Plant and Soil Science, and later completed a Master’s Program in Landscape Architecture. During his time at Texas Tech, he was actively involved in events for the Plant and Soil Science college and served as a council member for the Texas Tech Horticulture Club for two semesters. Dylan’s hobbies and interests include various outdoor activities and a deep appreciation for nature, which inspired his career choice, allowing him to work with plants and express his creativity through design and problem-solving.
